Chipotle Will Be Raising It’s Prices Mid-2014

Chipotle Considers Raising Prices

Here’s the scoop from Complex:

Chipotle announced this week that it might raises prices next year after outperforming sales expectations. The spike in prices would come during the middle of 2014 and would be to offset food costs. The popular burrito-slinger has been hesitant to increase prices, despite the cost of ingredients such as salsa and California avacados increasing.

I guess it’s time to go to Qdoba’s now! No, I’m just kidding. There’s something different and unique about the taste of Chipotle compared to other Americanized Mexican restaurants such as Qdobas and Taco Bell. Because of the uniqueness which Chipotle’s menu has, I doubt many people will choose not to go to Chipotle anymore if the prices don’t increase too drastically.
