Golden Globe Superlatives

Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Golden Globes

Last night Hollywood’s greatest stars celebrated with the 71st annual Golden Globe awards, hosted by Amy Poehler and Tina Fey. The dynamic duo were fantastic and funny as usual.

Golden Globe Superlatives

Best Openers: Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, the pair hit the right note when it came to making their dirty jokes. The funniest one of the evening was when they said “Gravity is the story of how George Clooney would rather float away into space and die than spend one more minute with a woman his own age”.

Most Awkward Moment:  Jaqueline Bisset’s super long journey to the podium which was followed by a continuous stretch of not knowing what she was supposed to say.

Diddy, Sean Combs, Bono, Golden Globes, Twitter

Most Awkward Moment Pt. 2: The second part of this award goes to Sean Diddy Combs, who presented Bono with his award. When he leaned in for a hug, Bono had other ideas and resisted….talk about awkward!

Most Deserving: This award goes to two people the first goes to the film “12 Years A Slave” The film took home the Golden Globe for best film, and was well deserving. The second part of this award goes to Leonardo DeCaprio who won for his role in “Wolf of Wall Street”.

Best Introduction: When Tina Fey Amy Poehler introduced Leonardo Decaprio by saying “And now like a supermodel’s vagina, let’s all give a warm welcome to Leonardo DiCaprio.”

Leonardo DiCaprio, Golden Globes 2014, Winner

Surprising Win: Amy Poehler took home the Globe for her role in the hit show Parks and Recreation.

As promised Amy and Tina brought the funny and ended the show on time. Great job!
