LeBron Leads The Cavs To A 2-1 Series Lead, NBA Finals Game 3 Recap!

Every quarter is its own story. In the third quarter, the Cavaliers dominated the Warriors the entire way through, outscoring their opponents 28-18, and at one moment in the game leading by 20 points. But in the beginning of the fourth, the Cavaliers were about to let the game slip away, turning the ball over left and right. At the end of the game, the Cavaliers squeaked by 96-91. The Cavs never trailed the entire game.

Quicken Loans Arena packed in 20,562 fans in order to try to see their team get its first home win in franchise history. The city of Cleveland earned its first Finals win Sunday night when the Cavaliers beat the Warriors on the road in Game 2. LeBron continued his incredible run, scoring 40 points, grabbing 12 rebounds, and dishing eight assists. He was a machine. NFL Made The Correct Decision Suspending Greg Hardy (Opinion)

After receiving harsh criticism for the way the NFL handled the Ray Rice domestic violence issue, Roger Goodell announced yesterday that the league would be suspending defensive end Greg Hardy for 10 games next season.

The NFL released a statement saying: “Commissioner Goodell noted that Hardy engaged in conduct detrimental to the league and that a suspension of this length would be appropriate under any version of the Personal Conduct Policy or its predecessors.”

Maryland Terrapins women’s basketball team beats Princeton in the midst of threats

Just two days after Barack Obama attended Princeton’s victory over Green Bay, the Tigers squared off against the Terps at College Park on Monday evening. The Princeton Tigers were the last undefeated team in women’s college hoops and ranked an 8 seed in this year’s tournament. Maryland, the number one seed in the Spokane bracket, hosted the first two rounds of their bracket. Following a victory against New Mexico St., Maryland’s next challenge was the undefeated Tigers. Maryland’s Women’s Basketball Team Deserves More Attention On Campus

The Maryland Terrapins women’s basketball team is the fifth best team in the country. They have a 23-2 record on the season and have won 17 straight games. Consider this, Maryland has been on ESPN2 for three out of the team’s last five games, yet their student section is half empty. They receive more national attention than they do within a campus radius.

Maryland has won all 14 games that they have played against the Big Ten. Only three of these wins were within a single digit margin. On average they score 21.4 more points than their opponents, sixth best margin in the country. The two games they lost were against Washington State in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and at Notre Dame who was the best team in the country at the time.
